On 24th April 2026, Uganda Manufacturers Association (UMA) conducted an insightful field visit to the Roofings Limited Lubowa Facility as part of its ongoing capacity-building program for member companies.
The visit was one of the highlights of a three-day sales and marketing training workshop organized by UMA, aimed at equipping professionals across industries with practical strategies to enhance business growth and market competitiveness.
The delegation, comprising 20–40 participants from UMA’s diverse membership of over 1,500 companies across 26 subsectors, included managers, entrepreneurs, brand strategists, sales representatives, marketing executives, and business development professionals.
Their visit to Roofings provided a unique opportunity to bridge theory with real-world application.

To complement the learning sessions, the UMA delegation toured selected areas of the Lubowa facility. This gave participants a closer look at the operational processes behind the brand, reinforcing the connection between product quality, efficiency, and effective market delivery.
The visit underscored the importance of collaboration between industry players and associations like UMA in driving knowledge sharing and professional development.
