Yesterday, Roofings Group had the pleasure of hosting the First Deputy Prime Minister of Uganda and Minister for East African Community Affairs, Hon. Rebecca Alitwala Kadaga, and her team at our Namanve Plant.
The visit provided an opportunity to showcase Roofings Group’s manufacturing operations and highlight the role of local industry in driving Uganda’s economic transformation.
Through our flat steel processing operations, Roofings Group continues to contribute to value addition within Uganda’s economy by transforming raw materials into high-quality steel products for the construction and manufacturing sectors.
These operations strengthen local production, reduce reliance on imported finished products, create employment opportunities and support the development of Uganda’s industrial capacity.

Hon. Kadaga’s visit reaffirmed the importance of collaboration between government and the private sector in advancing local manufacturing, value addition and industrialisation.
